Xácara - 36’ Hatteras powered by twin 300 hp Cummins B-series motors. Murray Bro’s chair and one-piece riggers by Rupp. The Xacara has gained worldwide recognition for its fishing exploits in the Azores and is the boat that caught the current world record blue marlin on 80lb line.

Standard tackle on all boats is 130lb class with Shimano Tiagra reels, custom rods by Biscayne or Pat Brian and Sufix or Momoi topshots on dacron. Lighter tackle is available on request

Tuna tubes for live bait fishing are only available on Brasilia, Nola and Xacara

Light Tackle, Bait n’ Switch or World Record Fishing (with 2 mates) must booked in advance and is charged at an additional €150.00 /day

Fishing on the Princess Alice Bank is charged at an additional € 100.00 /day

Charters depart by 09.30 and return to the marina by 18.30 (9 hours at sea) - tackle, food and drinks are supplied on board

Marlin fishing season in the Azores is during the months of July, August and September

Tuna fishing season in the Azores is May and June (occasionaly during July, August and September)
